About the event
Empty Moon Sanctuary is a quiet, contemplative gathering held near the New Moon. It is a space to slow down, soften inward, and come into resonance with yourself through the simple, grounding ritual of tea.
We begin in silence, allowing the body to arrive and the nervous system to settle. Bowls of Camellia sinensis tea are poured slowly in the spirit of Cha Dao, the Way of Tea. Each tea is chosen in harmony with the season, the day, and the feeling of the collective — a gentle way of attuning to what is alive in the moment.
A brief contemplation or koan is offered to open an inner landscape. From there, the space opens into shared listening. Women are invited to trust their inner sense, to remain in silence, to write or reflect in a journal, or to offer something from the heart — a few words, a poem, or …
