Living Waters Tea Ceremony

Sun, Oct 20

|

Asheville

Water is precious. As we carry buckets of water into our homes, and grieve our waterways post-hurricane we have an opportunity to access a deeper well of gratitude for clean water. Through community efforts the water poured in this tea ceremony is from a newly tapped pure spring in West Asheville.

About the event

50% of proceeds will be donated to Riverlink, a local organization that has protected and improved 2.5 miles of the French Broad River and continuously strives to improve water quality in our local rivers.

The tea ceremony will begin in silence and continues until we have drunk three exquisite bowls of tea together. The practice of silence combined with awakening quality of tea offers us the opportunity to enter into a meditative state, experiencing states of deep peace, gratitude, and an appreciation for the simply beauty of life.

Kindly arrive on time and in silence.  Please pull down the driveway and park by the garden or along the field below the shed. The driveway is a thru-drive, so you can exit at the bottom of the driveway. Please do not block the road. Do not park on Woodridge Lane.  Please remove shoes and enter in through front door at the top…
