Cancellation Policy

Bodywork Session Policies Scope of Practice Bodywork sessions are non-sexual, professional, and therapeutic in nature. Sessions may include clothed table-based bodywork, craniosacral therapy, table-thai techniques, polarity therapy, and somatic awareness practices, as appropriate to the client and session. No sexualized touch, conversation, or behavior is ever part of this work. Consent & Communication Clear communication and consent are foundational to this work. Clients are encouraged to share needs, injuries, sensitivities, or boundaries at any time. You may request changes, pauses, or adjustments during a session. Consent is ongoing and can be withdrawn at any point. Attire All bodywork sessions are conducted fully clothed at Heart of Lumi. Comfortable clothing that allows ease of movement is recommended. Health & Responsibility Clients are responsible for disclosing relevant health conditions, injuries, medications, or recent surgeries prior to the session. Bodywork is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. If you are under the care of a physician, bodywork should be considered a complementary practice. Emotional & Somatic Responses Bodywork and somatic work can sometimes bring emotional release or insight. Emotional responses are welcome and held with care. Clients are responsible for their own emotional processing outside of session time. Extended emotional support or psychotherapy is not provided within bodywork sessions unless part of an established mentorship container. Punctuality Please arrive on time. Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time. Late arrival may shorten the session but does not change the fee. Cancellation Policy A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full. Emergencies are handled with discretion and compassion. Right of Refusal Lumi reserves the right to refuse or terminate a session at any time if boundaries are not respected or if the work feels inappropriate or unsafe. Agreement By booking a bodywork session, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these policies.
